"uh-hem, i have something to say"

today we had an amazing ultrasound with the doc. let me tell you what, baby chappy is a little show-off! she would not stay still for a millisecond! she was dancing, kicking, movin' to the groovin...

and then... the Nurse saw this little fist...that was totally clenched...minus her index finger. while the rest of her body was wiggling and squirming around like a little jumping bean, she left her fist there, just like this:

now, there are several possible scenarios of what she was trying to tell us;

1."Uh-hem, i have something to say."
2. "Mom, stop poking me...
Fine, I'll poke you back."
3. "I'm #1."
4. "Mom, you're #1."
5. "Look, my first booger."
6. "What's going on up there?"
7. "Can you please give me just one minute of privacy?"

the possibilities are truly endless, seeing that she can't actually talk yet.

so, after the appointment i decided, i'm addicted to ultrasounds. if i could, i'd have one every day- heck! every minute of every day, just so i could catch little hilarious moments like this. also so i could just watch her any moment i wanted to. it is such a calming, therapeutic thing to see the little person inside of you on screen. nothing beats it! it makes me so excited to think that i've beat the half-way mark- so then i can really see her any time i want.

Marce-
I love that you left me a comment. I have been dying reading your blog. You are hilarious. Isn't teaching school and adventure. I don't know how you teach those dear little 5 year olds. 2nd grade is about my limit I think! Congrats on the baby. You are a darling and I look forward to reading many posts to come.

It doesn't surprise me that she's dancing around in that belly of yours. You and Mike are pro at DDR. . . I think she's disco dancing in there with her pointer finger raised up high. Thanks for letting us take a sneak peek at your sweet baby girl.

So cute! How amazing that you can actually see fun details, like that one little finger, before she has even arrived. "I love technology, but not as much as you you see, but still, I love technology, always and forever, always and forever"

SO FUNNY! I can already tell you she is going to have a great personality, just like her mom! I'm with ya on the ultrasound thing. With this pregnancy, i've already had 4 and one again in a week or so and I'm adicted as well! I can't get enough! So, when are you going to come hang out during basketball?? I'll be here ANY time!!!!!!

So cute! I love ultrasounds too, but honestly nothing beats when you finally have your little baby in your arms. I'm glad you're so close.

OH! That is super cute. I love ultrasounds too. When my little Logan was in there he had he arms folded behind his head... totally laid back.. which is how he is to this day. I wish we could all afford our own ultra sound machines so we could check in on them more often!

You are hillarious!

I think she's waving that cute little finger around and saying, "Uh uh, no you didn't just poke me again."

I can tell from the pic that she's an adorable (and spunky) little girl... just like her mommy.

Wait... or maybe she's signing something. Hmmm.

It almost looks like she's signing the letter D.

You are such a funny girl. I love the sledding picts.

Don't worry too much about baby C; she's safe in there. I was so worried about hurting Drew in my first two trimesters that I didn't really do anything fun. Then, in my last trimester, I went nuts. I was going down the water slide every week at work! Drew loved it!

And I know I'm leaving my comment on the wrong post but when I saw there were 21 on this one, I just had to leave one more. You're going to beat the world record for the most comments on one post! Congratulations!

That is the cutest picture of her little finger! So besides being pregnant, what are you up to these days? I remember the last time seeing you at the grocery store in Provo.
