Ellie's First Field Trip

Ellie loves kindergarten. like SO much! she  got to go on her very first field trip to a Pumpkin Patch - and i got to be a chaperone. we had a blast! when i asked her what her favorite part of the day was, she told me without skipping a beat: "riding the bus! it was my first time and it was SO FUN! i didn't even have to wear a SEAT BELT!" very random but so cute.

Ellie is so lucky to have some very cute kids in her class this year. it is such a friendly bunch! in this picture, from left to right: Priya, Shaan, Ruby, Maddie, Ellie and Angela

they got to start in a big barn and sing a bunch of farmer joe type songs. the kids loved it.

then we got to take a big hay ride to pick our pumpkin. this is Ellie with one of her best little friends, Logan. i love them together! one day recently, she came from school saying, "Logan told me i am the prettiest girl he ever saw." and another day i was volunteering, i saw them holding hands on the playground. NOT what i was expecting for kindergarten - but they are really adorable together and he is such a cute kid so i'm not too worried about it. YET. :)

at one point during the day, Ellie was holding her friend Angela's hand and turned to me and said, "this is the best day of my LIFE!" i love five year olds so much. so glad i could be there for this!
