would you like a spot of tea?

we threw a little tea party for Ellie and a few of her little princess friends a couple of days ago.

it was just the cutest thing, complete with several varieties of tea (grape juice, pink lemonade, and apple juice), yummy treats, a kissing the frog prince game, dancing, and tons of giggling. my favorite part was making them ask me for "a spot of tea" every time they wanted more to drink. so cute hearing three and four year olds ask for a spot of tea.

Ellie loved it. (success)
and i'm pretty sure the other princesses loved it too.

and of course i naturally took bazillions of pictures to share...enjoy a peek into our fun!

note: all tea pots, tea cups and place settings were thrifted. it was so fun to put together. and the little girls got to take their tea cups home with them as a party favor.

Such great photos of all of the girls! It was such a great party and Livvy loved it and loves her special tea cup! Livvy also had a 2.5 hour nap when she got home so it must have been a super party!

LOVE this - you did such a great job!!!! That was just the most darling thing to look over. And I love the idea of the tea cups for party favors - did they play nice with the tea set stuff? That's been my biggest worry. Anyways, smashing job. Really. :)
