housekeeping..

i have a few housekeeping items: (most of which have to do with movies or television, so if you're less shallow than me, maybe you don't want to read this post?? if this is the case, please don't tell me so i don't feel horribly bad about myself. thanks.)

1. if you like to be depressed and feel horribly sad, watch the movie, Nights in Rodanthe. you will cry. and you will probably really hate it. so i guess this is my backwards way of saying, DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE. it's very bleak.

2. honk twice if you were shocked (pleasantly, of course) that KRIS won american idol!? wow wow wow.

3. honk three times if you are STOKED that So You Think You Can Dance has finally started!

4. is it just me, or have there been some extremely dramatic finishes to this season's shows? 24, LOST, House, AI (but we established that one already), the Office....the list could really go on and on, couldn't it? if you'd like to chat about it, (and you know i would) leave a comment.

5. Seven Pounds is probably the strangest movie i have ever seen. have you seen it?

6. it's a long weekend! (woot woot!) and then only 4 days left of school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! would you be surprised if i have an emotional break-down the last day of school? sadness and happiness are going to be simultaneously geyser-ing out of my body. it's going to be weird. watch out.

7. and just because i can't make a post without mentioning my Ellie, guess who took 6 steps today? we almost have a walker on our hands.............get ready.

Nights was a horribly unrealistic movie! So sad though, Nicohlas Sparks, should've known. Seven Pounds just freaked me out. I can't handle watching reality tv anymore, let alone dramas/comedies. I think i've convinced myself that they are real. however I caved & watched the Bachlorette & so you think you can dance. I've got too much time on my hands. I don't watch Lost or The Office until they come out on DVD, i can't handle waiting:)

I love both Kris and Adam. I'm happy Kris won it because I know he needs the help more than Adam. What's even better about SYTYCD starting????/ They are having a fall season too!!!!!!!!! Doesn't get much better than that. Oh and the Office was just wonderful!

Big life changes always involve emotional break downs. Your entitled to at least one. :-)

Nights in Rodanthe was awful- saw it in the theatre with some friends... we all bawled our eyes out and were ticked too! And seven pounds- crazy! And yay for Kris!!

Marci-sooo I was really confused at the beginning of 7 pounds, but I'm proud to say I figured it out before the love scene. I liked it even though it was way weird, but then again I am kind of weird. RaeAnn

I honked a total of 5 times. :) Ellie is so adorable! She was so cute at the softball game the other night! So I used to watch House but then randomly stopped watching it even though I love it, but I heard there were some crazy things that happened. You should tell me. yep. Anyway, just giving a shout out. woot.

I love that you thought 7 pounds was strange! Everyone I know has loved it and I DID like it too, but I also thought it was interesting and was starting to think I was the only one!
YAY for Kris!
Double YAY for SYTYCD.

I'm just as shallow as you are. My thoughts:

1. I nearly peed by pants during the first episode of SYTYCD.
2. Is it sad that I dream of going on that show? They would never take me. I'll keep dreaming...
3. I thought the 24 finale had way too many loose ends...lame.
4. Office episode - yay for Jim and Pam!
5. We heard 7 Pounds glorifies suicide and didn't see it. Did you feel the same? I haven't decided whether to see it or not.
6. Nights in whatever...thought that looked lame. Would you recommend it?
7. It's ok if you have a breakdown. I used to cry every last day of school when I taught high school seminary. It happens to the best of us.
8. Yay for E!!! Way to take 16 steps!!

I too loved American Idol. I've read all of Nicholas Sparks' books and when I heard Nights wasn't great, I didn't want it to ruin the book for me.

Yeah for Ellie walking! Paige is getting close.

Good luck with the end of the year and your big move!

I think Ellie walking is so cute and can't belkieve that she is alomost one!!, you are almost done with school, and my babies are all going in different directions. I am so proud of each and every one of you. Can't wait to see you today. I hope Ellie takes a couple of steps for Gammy.

SO sad that LOST and The Office are gone for a while. I loved both finales though! And since I am going through withdrawal now I am getting my Jim (aka John Krasinski) fix this Sunday by going to a preview screening for "Away We Go" -

Looks SO cute.
