a migraine made me do it.

we played hooky today...from all of our responsibilities at church and adulthood...and i blame it on my friend who visits every now and again: miss Mia Graine. while i hate the constant pounding, teary eyes, nauseousness and hammering Mia brings into my life, it was kinda nice to have an excuse to just veg out, make pizza, listen to the rain/snow/slush fall down from the sky, hang out with my parents who came to console me in my sickness, play peek-a-boo all day long with Princess Ellie (who just gets cuter and cuter and more and more fun, by the way), and watch You've Got Mail and Music and Lyrics and other weird stuff that came on tv...

is anyone else's entire life put on hold when a migraine comes to town?

thank goodness for raindrops and roses and pizza and extra long bubble baths on days like these.

p.s. Ellie has come out of her blogging hiatus...visit her blog for some new fun updates by clicking here (not invited? just ask, i'd love to send you an invite).

YES! I know what you mean about miss Mia Graine! She's annoying and interrupts my entire day (usually). Do you get the vision blur too when you can't see anything but a giant fuzz ball...and all you can do is sleep it off?

Well, I'm glad that despite you not feeling well, you had a great relaxing Sunday full of amazing food and great movies! Have a great week hon. :)

Sorry about your headache girl! Those are the worst. Migraine or no migraine though, sometimes you just need a little break from the world!

It was the perfect day for a migraine! Rainy, Lazy, Good company, Good food... and Ellie! Your Pizza was deliciosa! Hope you are feeling better. I am certain that the barometric pressure triggers migraines for me. Keep track! Thank You for spending time with Grandma. She loves you to pieces and misses you a lot. I will tell you about my interesting visit later.
I will see you Friday.

ouchers! sorry to hear about the migraine! the only thing that works for me is a)barfing or b)a coke, one ibuprofen, and one excedrin migraine. i usually choose b. it looks like you have become the homemade pizza queen though! yum!

I am so empathizing with you at this very moment... Migraines totally suck. All I can say is thank goodness for heavy blankets that block out the light, no tv and whispered voices, and a husband willing to do carpool because there was no way that I was even attempting to go outside with or without sunglasses.

And thank goodness for your blog so I can vent my day's frustrations without writing yet another post on my head.

Hope you feel better soon soon. and I seriously mean that!
