I made a homemade pizza two weeks ago and all it had on it was pepperoni! (That's all I had haha). Man, your pizza puts mine to shame.

http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Easy-Tomato-Basil-Pizza/Detail.aspx?src=etaf. I have made this twice this month and I love it! You mix all the ingredients together and cut them small so they are spread evenly over the whole pizza. I haven't had time to make crust yet, though you can. I have a really good crust recipe but don't know where it is. When you go to the link, change the serving size to 4. I would half the cheese. The recipe says to use 1/4lb mixed with the toppings and 1/4lb on top. I would use 1/8lb mixed in and 1/8 on top - you can just play it by sight because the normal recipe really does have way too much cheese...you can see it when you make it. You also don't have to do the exact toppings in the recipe - I mixed like 5 or 6 different kinds together. But you do need the olive oil and basil mixed with the toppings. The basil is better fresh but doesn't need to be. My parents, Eli, and I love this recipe! I am a pizzaholic and this is a fav. Happy baking! Did you get my address I sent you? I'll send you a picture of the pizza I made on your email. Love ya!

I love to make homemade pizza too! I frequently make BBQ chicken (BBQ sauce, chicken and red onions). Also, try a packet of alfredo sauce with some chicken and tomatoes and spinach...yummy!

Ever since I read this post I can't stop thinking about homemade pizza. And I'm still craving cherries from last month's post.

You've got to stop posting about food, Marci. I'm going crazy. Nothing I eat tastes good. All I want to eat is pizza and cherries!!!

I am proud to say that I have probably already eaten 70 something acres of pizza in the past year alone...I love it! Definately give the BBQ pizza one a try...and don't forget the cilantro. It's a yum punch. I cheat and use Rhodes bread dough for fluffy crust. Think I'm going to try a spinach and artichoke combo this weekend on a crispy crust. Happy baking adventures.

So, this is a late comment, I know. But...I just discovered the greatest thing. I love to make homemade pizza as well, and reading your blog mad me hungry for it. But I have always struggled with the dough. I hate making the mess (ok, really I hate cleaning up the mess)but every other short cut I have tried tastes bad...until I found Nicolitalia's Pizza (by 24 hour fitness and Albertsons). They have the best crust and I just found out that you can buy a ball of dough to make a lg pizza for $2. Well worth it to me! I just thought I would share the thought. :-)
