look at you!

surprisingly, photo shoot #2 went much better than photo shoot #1. we took 2 or 3 pictures and BAM, done. i think it's partially my growing impatience in front of a thing flashing at me when i don't really feel comfortable in this other person's body. i think it's also partially due to the fact that i've come to terms with the fact that i will be wearing someone else's body for a very long time so i may as well just get used to it.

30 weeks! (minus a couple of days...)

my new favorite (and not so favorite) prego things:

1. she loves to roll...and stretch. i didn't realize that me feeing her move would be more than just short kicks... my favorite is feeling her stretch her back up against my tummy. it reminds me of Baloo from the Jungle Book movie scratching his back up against a coconut tree.

1a. i love watching my tummy as it shakes and rolls when she is moving like crazy. it is such a miracle!

2. i pee, all the time. i thought i peed a lot in the first trimester...but nothing compares to now. i drink 8 oz of water and i have to pee. i jump, i have to pee. i wake up, i have to pee. i cough, i have to pee. the urgency to pee is ruling my life.

3. i love that i love chocolate! i have never been a fan of chocolate...often making me an "outcast" of my gender. pregnancy has sweetened my tastebuds into craving chocolatey goodness 24-7. i relate to women in a way i've never been able to before.

4. i'm addicted to fruit. give me a nectarine, orange, grapes, cherries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, apples, plums...you name it, i'm in HEAVEN.

5. maternity clothes were not made for me. especially pants. my legs are too short, my cuban butt is too big. please, somebody fix this problem.

6. i must exercise to feel good. weird, yet true. i think labor still freaks me out...and i somehow feel i need to be "in shape" for the blessed event. who knows.

7. i've never been so excited to be a mom...and for mike to be a dad. i am obsessed with babies and children of all kinds. i watch them (and wonder if their parents are creeped out by me and my staring) and try to imagine what my little girl will look like and be like. i cannot wait!

What cute pictures! You look great for being 30 weeks! I think your excercise is paying off! You will be a great mom! And yes, I loved feeling Kayleigh inside of me. Once she was born I was kind of sad tha I couldn't feel her any more inside of me.

You look so cute. I too understand the fruit craving. Watermelon was my favorite. I was just glad to have a normal craving instead of something weird.

i can't believe it, only 10 more weeks to go! and if you were me... only 4 more weeks, crazy! you look beautiful in the photos, it's amazing that you are the vessel for bringing in a new life. and remember those kicks and rolls, although annoying at times, i miss feeling wade in my tummy the most.

If you actually get down do the bottom of your comment list... The Motherhood Maternity Petite Jeans were the only ones that fit me (I'm a midget too), and I loved them, and don't you think it's funny how as soon as you start looking pregnant EVERY mom, and elderly person in the world automatically talks to you? It doesn't stop after their born either..

Hey Marce!
Lookin Good!! (and not feeling fine!... at least I wasnt) Maternity clothes were just wierd for me. They never fit right and the pants never stay up! You will get your "old" body "back" especially if you are excercising! Its amazing how our bodies are made to bounce right back. Of course, the chest will always be bigger...sorry for the frankness! I have to wear a size bigger shirt now because of this.
Oh, and sleep now.

such cute pictures Marci. And I love your little prego tidbits. I think you should consider, when this pregnancy is over, making a book out of your posts. Check out www.blurb.com and its a cheap yet fancy and cute way to put together your blog posts. I think it would be a cute memory for you to have.

Keep posting about your pregnancy. It makes me laugh!

These pictures are fabulous! You look great! I've never really found any maternity pants that I love besides my gouchos and my yoga pants. I kind of think pregnancy and jeans don't mix. Pregnancy is such a crazy adventure, and we're just getting started!

You look beautiful, and so very happy! I can't believe you are already thirty weeks. I swear everyone else's pregnancy goes by SO fast. I craved the strangest things while I was pregnant... like ice? I would chew on it all the time; it drove everyone nuts! You will be the cutest, most fun mom ever! Enjoy the last stretch of pregnancy (no pun intended)
