-lift a toddler out of her crib
-undress a toddler for her bath
-make waffles
-pour waffle mix over hot griddle (though that one left a nice sizzle on my free hand)
-get a drink for yourself and/or your demanding toddler
-color various pictures in various princess coloring books
-turn the bath-tub on
-eat a sandwich (which may or may not leave crumbs on your nursing baby's head)
-surf the web
-build a tower with blocks
-fix a snack for the toddler/ though it's safest to fix something that doesn't require the use of a knife.
-read tons and tons of books- or just the same ones over and over- we have the Big Hungry Bear memorized. and lots of other ones too.
-sing your toddler to sleep
-get some sleep yourself (though I promise it will not be restful sleep...and will undoubtedly leave you with a huge crink in your neck)
-write a blog post about the things you can do while nursing.
-have a dance party...
but be warned- it's probably not the best idea to have your dance party at your hip hop class...unless you want to look like this:

just some of the valuable knowledge you get from being a mama to an infant AND a toddler.

that is awesome... I would love to get a copy of this book I just might have to get it....
I am laughing so hard!
oh i love this and needed this laugh, and found it even more funny that i have done all of the above:) gotta love busy toddlers.
man, your good!! I just yell at my toddlers to wait until I'm done nursing. That does look like a sweet book though!
only, if you're not so huge that it takes being half naked and 3 arms at minimum to nurse.....;)
Nursing is becoming more and more technical and requires more sophisticated understanding of disease processes, treatments, and pharmacology. Nurses also want to be treated as professionals rather than semi-skilled workers. To these ends, the current trend favors four year degrees rather than the shorter programs. Many nurses opt to get a two year degree either at a diploma school or community college, then return to complete a BSN while they gain work experience. Some hospitals pay BSN graduates slightly more (mostly as an incentive to obtain a BSN), but the job assignments are identical.

another thing you can do while nursing - comment on this blog post about multi-tasking while nursing. ;) TMI?
cute & clever marci...another great post that made me smile :)
WOW. I am impressed. I thought I was good at multi-tasking while nursing with my little guy... but I didn't do half of the things on your list!
You must be supermom. Why has the thought of taking care of a little one still be a responsibility when you have a new baby never crossed my mind? Don't they all just behave and wait their turn? haha
That picture is the best thing I've ever seen.
You forgot one: pee.
So stinkin true!! I'm embarassed what I do sometimes while nursing. I think "if any one was watching..." I love the pic too. You're so creative marc, seriously you have a gift. Love you girl!
