three simple confessions

{brought to you today by youtube}

1. i'm secretly ticked off at the world series tonight for delaying glee. i know, what kind of American am i? isn't baseball as American as it gets? and yes, i know Glee can be.........naughty. but it's sorta my guilty pleasure.....cuz i'm in LOVE with the music. i watch the music videos over and over again on our DVR while i'm cleaning, making dinner, or just hangin' out around the house. the day they come out with a soundtrack, i'm sold. my most favorite song lately is "somebody to love."

2. i love sesame street. i feel like i can finally consider myself a true stay-at-home mom now that i've found my inner love for this show. i guess i just love how they appeal to parents with celebrities and little parodies of shows. my most favorite one lately is "preschool musical." check it out.

3. i think i laugh the hardest when other people fall or hurt themselves. i know i should show sympathy. but i don't. maybe it's because i'm super clumsy? (let's be honest, gravity is NOT my friend). anyway, i think i've watched this grape-stomping video at least a hundred times...and i laugh harder and harder every time i hear that poor lady groan. oh man, i'm so glad that wasn't me. then again, i bet that lady is glad she didn't fall down the stairs in front of everyone in a quiet church...

more confessions to come soon...
sooner than these ones did, i promise :)

xoxo

that was pretty good. I loved the grape lady! it seems like you're enjoying ca, even though I know how hard it is to be away from friends and family. I feel for ya, but the good friends will come, we've met some amazing people this year. best of luck :)

Dag nabit, Marci, I haven't watched Glee since that first night and now you've got me hooked on this music. Ya little stinker. I should watch it again.

ha ha, that lady that fell was so hilarious! She made such a scene! I would have just played dead or something because I would have been so mortified.
And if I were those anchors I would have lost it with laughter. Props to them for keeping it together, but you know that lady was on the verge!

I think Glee is one of the funnest guilty pleasures! I am in love with all of their music. You can actually purchase the songs on iTunes...I think they even have the soundtrack, but I'm not sure... Thanks for all your fun posts!

First: Love Glee. Love the music. Love how it's a little or a lot dirty sometimes (even my mom likes it haha).

Second: I need to get some sesame street going around here so Bryant will actually have a long show to watch on the plane to Tennessee. What are your favorite episodes???

Third: Grape lady=hilarious. Didn't we watch this in St. George together and giggled all night? and then you told us all about dinkles(spelling?) haha.

Fourth: I have decided that I'm putting any money I get this christmas towards a "traveling fund." Oh yeah.

fifth: Is glee on tonight now? I ended up watching "America's next top model" last night. painful.

sixth: My pediatrician said to wait another month and then buy a forward facing car seat. So if I can convince Travis to spend that much on a car seat i want to get the one Ellie has.

ummmm no seventh. Love ya :)

i felt like crying when i realized glee wasn't going to be on last night. that was the one thing i had been looking forward to all day- being sick and all, tv shows are the highlight of the day! :) i love that show.

that grape lady- oh man... i guess that's what happens when you try and cheat! i'm impressed the other anchors stayed so calm, you could tell they were trying not to make a funny face or laugh, but they pulled it off. i bet the second the camera stopped recording they were in hysterics on the ground. haha so mean....but, so funny.

Dave and I love Glee! It is a little dirty at times, but the music is great and the characters are awesome. Its pure entertainment. Hang in there with all these transitions. I'm still getting used to our new digs and were still in Utah! Change is so hard, even when you're grown up and supposed to be over the freak out. We miss you guys!

I felt the exact same way about missing Glee. Love love love that show. And you know of my love for all things Sesame Street. The new season starts in Nov. Thank heavens because some of the repeats were getting to me. The "mine-itis" episode is my least favorite! We love the "fruit dance" at our house!
Also I got all of Paige's footed jammies at Costco. They are only $7.50. I'm obsessed! Can't wait to see what cute Ellie will be for Halloween!
