today marks a monumental day in my life.
you see, today is the first
first day of school in twenty years that i am not participating in....either as teacher or student.
you heard me right.
twenty years.just thought you might like to know.
i will now go back to jumping on my bed while simultaneously doing my make-up, watching elmo's world, and making my lil toddler laugh.
(yes, i'm putting all those years of education to good use).
xoxo

HOLY COW!!! I'm the first to post a comment on your blog! :-) Enjoy it.. pretty soon you'll be re-living those first days of school all over again with Miss Ellie. It will sneak up on you! so sad how fast they grow. We miss you.
Isn't it the best feeling EVER?!? Even though I'm graduated, I'm a stay-at-home-mommy & that's the best job I have ever & will ever have!!!! When everyone is complaining about school, I'm enjoying my little queen getting into everything she possibly can! ;)
I am so excited for you! Especially since I am back at school as a teacher AND a student! I think I may go crazy! So enjoy your freedom!
Sounds lovely! Enjoy every minute@
You are so funny! You're blog is the total bomb diggity of all blogs. I love it! Yea for no school! Being a stay-at-home mommy is way better, huh?!? Busy, and hard...and sometimes quite crazy-- but lovely and wonderful all at once too. :) I love ya Marce. I'm so glad to see you're still smiling...even though you're 1,000 miles away from "home" :(
...Hey, and by the way- Tarah Hendricks-Crookston teaches Kindergarten at Savanna's school! Crazy, huh?!
hahahahha! This was the first school year in over 20 that I am un-involved as well. It feels weird and I am nostalgic for a minute. ENJOY!!!!!! You deserve it.
