i've been skeptical to get "artsy" on my header...mostly because it's time consuming...and because, well, i'm a plain jane sorta gal.
but, my friend lea inspired me....and i decided it was time to branch out. i know it's baby steps...but what do you think? i really like it. i'm excited to continue to beautify this work-in-progress i call my blog.

I LOVE IT! I need to update mine...thanks for being inspiration!
Marci, this is Kandyce Gabrielsen (Cameron...Latoya's big sis), do you remember me? I stumbled upon your blog while reading Amber and Joe's blog (I work with Joe), so I thought I'd say hello. You look absolutely stunning in your photo shoot! You and your hubby are adorable. Congrats on your baby that is on its way.
Kandyce

i'm loving the photo, what a great day that was. thank you for your letter to wade, we'll leave the up-the-back explosions for your baby girl. can't wait to see you next weekend.
I L-O-V-E your header. Please tell me how you did it.
It looks awesome, Marci!! Can you help me with mine? :)
You have so many cute things on your blog! I am so excited I found it. Congrats on the little one on the way!
thanks for your lovely responses! to all of those who asked "how" to do this:
photoshop is the best! basically, all i did was crop my picture to the size i wanted it, removed the color...then i duplicated the picture, so there were two layers with the same picture (you'd have to have photo shop to understand). i made one of the pictures really blurry (using one of the photo shop tools) and then cut out mike and i from the other picture (the one that was clear) and placed it over the blurry one. i don't know if this was the best way to do it, but it was pretty easy. i then inserted a text box right there in photo shop with my own font to put what i wanted it to say. then it's just an easy upload to blogger! i don't know if this makes sense...if you've never worked with photo shop before, it may not...eek. if you have any other questions, let me know! i'm definitely no photo shop expert- but someday i hope to be! xoxo
I absolutely love the blog header! WOW! How did you do it?
