John Mayer + other summer things
we got to see one of my very faves, John Mayer, in concert with my brother in law Jeff and his cute girlfriend Marie. as expected, it was an incredible concert! this guy is nuts. like so incredibly talented. we were pretty pumped to get the music set list of songs he played, too! kind of fun to know exactly what he played that night.

fourth, fourth, and more FOURTH
this year was my favorite fourth of July ever!
i don't know why really.
it just felt right.
had just the right amount of festivities crammed in.
began with people i love.
ended with people i love.
lots of fun jammed in between.
just like i like it.
this day is just the best.

then we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's house where we invited everybody over for a big bbq/swim party. so fun!
when we were all wiped out and waterlogged, we headed to the big ol college park area for fireworks. it was a full night........but that's what fourth of july's are for...to wipe you out real good.
so grateful for the freedoms we enjoy. and for my loves who make every day worth living. God bless the USA!

the girls decked out their bikes for the ward pancake breakfast/bike parade. they loved it!
then we headed to Piedmont for our favorite little local parade. we've gone the last couple of years and the girls absolutely love it!
